Keynote Address

Shin’nen Morita (Hongwanji Kangaku Academicians and Kyoto Women’s University Professor Emeritus)

Kyoto Women’s University, where I have been lecturing on Shinran Shonin’s teaching, was founded through the contributions of members of the then-Hongwanji Buddhist Women’s Association. Through the efforts of the many women who lived in appreciation of Amida Buddha’s Wish, the Kyoto Women’s University we have today has been realized. Together, let us appreciate the life embraced by Amida Buddha’s Wish.
